This year has been fantastic for well-established superstars, but the year also saw more eclectic singles bubble up and find mainstream success. A number of indie bands struck a chord with weird yet accessible tunes. At the same time, several artists who have been kicking around for a while worked up songs that drew from their past but somehow managed to feel fresh. It is safe to say that Aziz Ansari is fast becoming one of the most talked about and in demand comedians in Hollywood.

After scene stealing roles in cult classic TV series’ Human Giant, Scrubs, Flight Of The Conchords and Parks & Recreation as well as turns in big screen hits such as Judd Apatow’s Funny People and the upcoming Get Him To The Greek, there is little left for the bearded funny man to conquer.

However, despite signing a multi-picture deal with Judd Apatow and Universal Studios, Aziz is still finding time to travel the globe and tread the boards – heading to Australia to perform a one-night-only stand up show.

Ivana Trump, the first ex-wife of billionaire Donald Trump, was escorted by sheriff's deputies off a flight Saturday afternoon at Palm Beach International Airport after she screamed and cursed at children, authorities said.

Trump, 60, of Palm Beach, was seated in first class and apparently became irate because children were running up and down the aisle and screaming, Palm Beach County sheriff's officials said.

Trump, who last week filed for divorce from her third husband, has not been charged in the incident. The FBI declined to investigate, sheriff's officials said.

Flight attendants on the LaGuardia-bound Delta flight told deputies that they tried to calm Trump by offering her another seat and headphones. Trump instead became more belligerent.

The plane was just leaving gate C1 when the incident occurred, and the pilot decided to pull back to the gate and call for help, officials said.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Trump used the "f" word toward the crew and passengers, including children. Officials said she began screaming in vulgar terms for children to shut up.

Deputies asked Trump to voluntarily exit the plane, but they said she refused numerous times. Deputies then "physically escorted her off the aircraft," officials said.

Deputies said Trump repeatedly cursed at them as well. Trump's driver picked her up at the airport soon after.

Gay entertainment websites are buzzing over the exclusion of a gay pairing in the trailer of the upcoming feature film Valentine's Day.

The romantic comedy, set for a February 12 nationwide release, pairs five couples as they celebrate Valentine's Day in Los Angeles.

Included in the mix is Bradley Cooper, whose gay character is reportedly in love with a closeted football player, performed by Eric Dane, dreamy Doctor McSteamy from ABC's Grey's Anatomy.

But the movie's trailer released Monday omits the film's inclusion of a gay storyline.

“Is it really impossible to market an ensemble romantic comedy to the masses with a gay couple in it?,” Ed Kennedy wrote at AfterElton.com, a website devoted to male gay entertainment. “Could that really be considered a bad marketing move in Hollywood now?”

Kennedy compared the film's marketing to that of A Single Man, whose director, Tom Ford, and star, Colin Firth, have called a “universal” film, not a gay film.

“First, a gay director [Tom Ford] takes a movie about a gay man based on a book by a gay man [Christopher Isherwood] and degays the marketing for that movie, and now this?”

We all know Kath sometimes goes a little nanna with her hair and makeup, and this year, at the Oscars she also went a little OTT with the bronzer. Like, massively OTT, Primpers. See how it’s all illuminated and very, very dark on her cheeks? Almost like she’s just fallen into a mud bath? Yup, you definitely don’t want that. The rest of her look is actually really stunning, it’s just a shame she ruined it with the heavy concentration of colour on her cheeks.


9. Blake Lively’s Really Bad Chest Concealer


Note to Blake; When hitting the red carpet and trying to dazzle us with your beauty, make sure there are no distractions. Like really bad concealer on your chest, for example. It takes away from your amazing makeup and lovely hair and makes you look just a little bit silly. Next time, just make sure you get a concealer that’s the same colour as your skin, that’s all.

Before joining the cast of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Xavier Samuel was certainly no stranger to the film world, and he'd completed a handful of other films - including one (The Loved Ones) which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival this September.

According to a recent feature in his local newspaper, though, his Twilight-related celebrity status has thrown him for a bit of a loop.

"I wasn't used to that sort of attention, so I just took it in my stride, I guess," he told Adelaide Now. "I think Robert [Pattinson] and Kristen [Stewart] do a really good job in dealing with fans. They seem to handle it really well, so if I can take a leaf out of their book I should be OK." Good rule of thumb?

As for Eclipse, Samuel (who portrays "Riley") gave a few intelligent words of insight as well. "If you want to know what happens in the movie, just read the book." Well, yeah. On the other hand, particularly where Samuel is concerned, there've been some notable deviations in the storyline of Eclipse for the film - ones which, so far, have been well received. For instance, there was some speculation offered up this October about a scene with "Riley" being the first of the film - a scene which, thanks to the first-person perspective of "Bella" in the books, was as-yet-unseen for readers.

Chris Pine grabs his crotch to measure the inseam while trying on jeans at the Ralph Lauren RRL store in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve (Thursday, December 24).

Pictures were first posted yesterday but these new pics popped up, so enjoy! (Chris shopped at the same store back in August as well.)

While trying on jeans at the converted auto repair shop, the 29-year-old Star Trek actor was also seen lifting up his shirt and showing off a bit of his tummy.

Chris also flipped through the “Porsche Icons” book.

( Treating themselves to a much-needed night on the town, John Mayer and Samantha Ronson were spotted out at The Karaoke Bar in Los Angeles in the early hours of Thursday morning (December 24). )

The Lohan Family's official site is now officially online after being in production for awhile. Their tagline is "Real People Live Here". At "Lohan House", you can explore the different rooms of all of the Lohan family and even buy their used items.

"Jersey Shore" was filmed in Seaside Hts, NJ. Since my family was celebrating Christmas at my Aunt's home in Seaside Park, (the "North Side" equivalent to Seaside Hts "South Side" quality), I took the liberty to take some photos of the Jersey Shore house.


Since people may think this isn't an exciting post, I thought I'd post the most interesting picture in front of the cut: the graffiti the lovely locals have tagged the symbolistic Italian flag NJ outline with!

To land on this 10 Worst List, a movie has to be more than merely disappointing. No, it must be walk-out bad, except that my job as a film critic is to sit there and watch it anyway, and simply be subjected to the torture. Sometimes, a film turns out to be so awful that it's actually funny, but that doesn't count as a miserable enough experience to warrant inclusion here. No, these flicks are the ones with no redeeming qualities which left me savoring this opportunity to get even.

I confess I've written more than my fair share of posts complaining about the never-ending march of paranormal, ghost busting shows haunting TV these days. You know the shows I refer to -- the "documentaries" promising to prove the existence of ghosts without ever finding anything resembling actual proof.

Every time I've written something bemoaning the arrival of another such show, I think it has to be over soon. There can't be another hour of clods stumbling around in night vision and reacting to sights and sounds the audience doesn't get to experience.

But, they keep coming. They keep finding nothing. But, evidently, people keep watching them. Now, we have Ghost Intervention -- running through December. The 4-part docu-series from TLC "chronicles a case manager and a team of women with psychic abilities as they try to help different families who are struggling with paranormal activity in their homes."

I guess that makes it "The Exorcist meets The View" -- only The View is infinitely more horrifying than any case of haunting or demonic possession. However you describe it, we're looking at hours of women without proven psychic powers exercising unproven science to deal with unproven phenomena. It's a wonder PBS didn't pick this up for Firing Line.

We're left with one big question. It seems unavoidable that there will be more of these ghost-hunting shows. But, what's left to cover with so many on the air? What gimmick will they turn to next?

This spring, the 35-year-old Julie & Julia actress is expecting her first child with fiancé Darren Le Gallo.

Amy recently shared with ET that she’s eager to find out the sex of the baby.

“I thought about waiting but that is not my personality,” Amy said. “I am impatient. It is not about planning a nursery, it is more about I want to know. I want to relate in that way.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Brooke Mueller was legally drunk when she called 911 on Charlie Sheen ... and, we've learned, Brooke has fessed up that her allegation was phony.

Sources say authorities gave both Charlie and Brooke blood alcohol tests. Brooke registered a .13 while Charlie registered a .04. By the way, the 911 call came in at 8:34 AM on Christmas day.

We're also told Brooke recanted her story to a female officer just before the bail hearing, telling the cop she was drunk when she made the 911 call. Nevertheless, law enforcement sources say police will still pursue the case -- at least for now.

We've also learned Sheen has hired well-known Colorado attorney Richard Cummins to represent him.

Cops responded to the 911 call, arrived at the home and Sheen was arrested after Brooke claimed he assaulted her. Charlie was booked for two felonies and one misdemeanor relating to domestic violence.

As we first reported, Sheen told law enforcement Brooke was the aggressor and he was just trying to defend himself.

Charlie's next court date is set for February 8.

Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller are planning to undergo counseling after a heated fight at a dinner party in Aspen, Colo., that landed Charlie in jail on domestic violence charges Friday morning.

"They were fighting at a dinner in a friend’s house and it continued until the next morning," a source close to Mueller tells PEOPLE. "Both of them were drinking and neither was supposed to be. They both have histories of alcohol abuse and have made every effort to stop. But things got out of hand."

Sheen, 44, was booked at 11:20 a.m. for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief, according to a spokesperson for the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Department in Aspen, Colo. The actor posted an $8,500 bond Friday night and was released from jail at 7 p.m. He is due in court on Feb. 8, 2010 at 10:30 a.m.

"Charlie went right back to Los Angeles after he was released from jail," the source tells PEOPLE. "Both he and Brooke will undergo counseling and Charlie will get anger management counseling."

Despite reports, the couple had not been separated in the weeks leading up to the Christmas morning 911 call at the house they were renting with their twin boys, Bob and Max, 9 months.

"Brooke and Charlie have never been separated," the source tells PEOPLE. "And the boys are fine – so precious. They knew nothing about a fight between their parents."

The actor's Colorado-based attorney Richard Cummins tells PEOPLE, "They have two children together and they love one another and they’re going to work through what is a difficult time and they’re going to do that together and as privately as possible."

Sheen's rep, Stan Rosenfield, had no further comment.

Mueller, 32, plans to stay at her rented house in Aspen, and there is no talk of divorce at this time.

"Brooke loves to snowboard and wants to be in Aspen now," the source tells PEOPLE. "After this unfortunate event, they need to be apart for awhile."

Looks like Tony and Eva Longoria Parker and are ditching wintry days for "Summer Nights!"

With shiny wigs and cheeky choreography, the Desperate Housewives star and the San Antonio Spur channel Grease's Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson in a new video spoof posted on the NBA player's Web site.

"It's Eva's favorite film," Parker says in video, also posted on his Web site, of the 1978 musical starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

But fandom isn't the only reason the two decided to tackle the iconic song and dance. In the video, the basketball star explains that he and his wife have a challenge for their fans. "I've decided to play a game with you," he says, inviting viewers to submit similar parody videos of musical comedies – in full costume. Says Parker: "Now it's your turn."

Longoria Parker and her hubby will watch the entries – which are due on Jan. 31 – and pick a winner whom they'll fly to San Antonio, Texas, to catch Parker in action with the Spurs.

PHILADELPHIA -- Michael Vick's peers appreciate his tough journey back to the NFL.

Vick won the Ed Block Courage Award, voted on by his teammates on the Philadelphia Eagles, after the once-disgraced star quarterback returned to the league after spending 18 months in a federal prison for his role in a dogfighting ring.

"It means a great deal to me," Vick said Wednesday. "I was voted unanimously by my teammates. They know what I've been through. I've been through a lot. It's been great to come back and have an opportunity to play and be with a great group of guys. I'm just ecstatic about that and I enjoy every day."
